Tsavo East National Park: 3 Days 2 Nights

At 13,747 square kilometers this park is the largest wildlife protected area in the country. The park is home to large mammals with huge herds of Elephants often red in color due to the soil of the area. Other animals present include the lions, buffalos, leopards, Rhinos, Hippos, Crocodiles etc. The park has also recorded over 500 species of birds and has 300 kilometers plateau largest lava flow in the world.

DAY BY DAY ITINERARY

DAY 1: DEPARTURE/AFTERNOON GAME DRIVE

You will be met and have warm greetings from your tour leader and driver guide either at the airport or at your hotel lobby, then have tour briefing and depart Nairobi between 8:00hrs and 8:30hrs driving southwards for about 5 hours to reach Tsavo East National  Park in good time for lunch then enjoy afternoon game drives in the park until evening. Drive back to your pre booked lodge or camp for overnight

DAY 2: FULL DAY GAME DRIVES AND TAITA VILLAGE

After breakfast proceed for full day game drive in the Park with picnic lunch. In the afternoon you will have an optional visit to a nearby Taita village to experience some of their cultures and drive back to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.

DAY 3: MORNING GAME DRIVE/DEPARTURE

Early morning breakfast then head for game drive on your way out of the park driving back to Nairobi to arrive in the late afternoon at your hotel or at the airport. End of safari. (You can also begin this safari from Mombasa 272 kilometers, approximately 4hours 30mins)
